Moji Minato Festival (Harbor Festival) (5/25-5/26)

This festival was held first time in 1934 to celebrate the prosperity of the harbor, which has been an international port since those days.The main attraction is the parade. Around 2000 people includes musical bands and decorated cars participate in that parade, led by “Miss Port” at the top of the parade. Also, on various stages shows and musical performances that are about Kitakyushu’s culture and tradition can be seen as well.
