The Moji Minato Festival has a long tradition. It was held first time in 1934 to celebrate the prosperity of the harbor, which has been an international port since those days.

The event has a lot of attractions to offer for example a big parade, ship launchings, and traditional lanterns. The main attraction is the parade, which is held on Sunday 28th. Around 2500 people participate in that parade, led by “Miss Port” at the top of the parade. Also, on various stages shows and musical performances can be seen as well.
