The 19th Ariake Sea Firework Festival (8/27)

This year, the “Ariaake Sea Firework Festival” will take place this August, 2017 with a theme of “making Kyushu lively again”.
A total of 8000 fireworks will be launched in the night sky with the Ariake Sea as the background. All the fireworks will be line up in a row and launch the fireworks with a row which has a length of approximately 1km, giving a rare image of sparkling stars in the night sky. Thus, it is called the “Yanagawa Special”. On top of that, there are seats you can pay to watch the fireworks that come with barbeque.
