Tochouji Temple Setsubun Festival(2/2~3)

The Tochouji Temple Setsubun Festival is a traditional festival from the Muromachi Period.

On this day the temple will put the wooden sculpture of the Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara on display for every guest to see. On top of that, the temple will have many entertainment shows and a lottery to entertain the guests; beans, and mochis, and mandarins for anyone who’s interested. Every year the place is packed with people, and this year’s expected to be no less.
