Kurume Water Festival（8/3～5）
Contents
Kurume’s annual summer festival will be held at the center of Kurume city.
There will be a parade by marching bands and street performers and stage performance by Japanese drum group on Meiji-Dori Street. More than 10,000 people participate in Kurume’s traditional dance, Soroban So-Odori. This festival is for being thankful for the water blessing of the largest river in Kyushu, Chikugo River. There will be a fireworks festival on the final day of the festival.
