Is there really a place where you can go and play with cute little Mameshiba pups?

There sure is! The Mameshiba Café, located on the 5th floor of the Fukuoka Parco Main Building – an absolute must for those in need of a little healing from a furry friend!

Come sit back and relax while surrounded by Mameshiba pups here at the Mameshiba Café.

Now we’d like to share with you some info on how to get into the café as well as some café highlights.

Admission

① First purchase a ticket for your desired visit time.

First purchase a ticket for the time of your visit at the ticket counter. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Ticket counter opens starting at 10:30am)
The cost of admission including one drink is 880 yen for adults and 680 yen for children. You will have 30 minutes to enjoy the café.

② Come to the café at the time shown on your ticket and present your ticket to café staff to enter.

Just come back to the café at the time shown on your ticket to enter. Don’t forget to show a staff member your ticket!

Open the door to be greeted by a happy little Mameshiba pup. There will be even more of these friendly little guys waiting for you inside so go ahead and get excited!

Take off your shoes and hop over the fence into the café! Just don’t forget to disinfect your hands first!

Once inside, first go ahead and leave your belongings in the space provided inside the café.

While leaving your things you may find yourself immediately surrounded by a bunch of Mameshiba pups looking to play. Be sure to resist the urge to play with the pups until you have finished listening to the staff’s instructions, first!

The café has a set of instructions to follow for staying safe when playing with the pups, so be sure to listen carefully to all instructions first so you can enjoy your time with the Mameshiba.

From the super energetic, friendly ones…

…to those on the timid side, here you can play with a bunch of different pups, each with their own unique personalities but all just too cute for their own good!

You’re not allowed to pick up the Mameshiba pups, so the friendly little guys are sure to come hopping up on your lap all the time. When they do, feel free to go ahead and pet them (gently, of course).

It also feels great to sip on something to drink while hanging out with the dogs, and since one drink comes included in the price of admission, feel free to grab a drink from the café vending machine.

Unfortunately, you can’t bring the Mameshiba pups back home with you, so why not check out the souvenir shop next to the ticket counter and pick up some cute Mameshiba goods to take home with you?
